ABOUT US • MEET KHUSH JABBLE
ALWAYS MAKING.
ALWAYS IMAGINING.
Drawing, inventing and making stuff. It’s what I’ve loved for as long as I can remember — and it’s still what gets me into the workshop today.

SOME THINGS
NEVER CHANGE.
That’s me with a rather unconventional bicycle. From crazy bikes to garden sculptures and finely engraved solid-gold rings, there’s always been another idea waiting to be made.

I’m Khush, the maker behind Allsop Designs. Design is at the heart of everything I enjoy doing.
Whether I’m making something new, refreshing something old, fixing it or replacing it, good design helps me see all the possibilities.
I like to draw things out so we can see what we’re trying to achieve. I find it easy to visualise an idea in 3D, which helps turn a conversation into something we can actually build.
Over the years I’ve made so many different things that there are simply too many to mention. The common thread? Curiosity, practical thinking and the pleasure of making an idea work.
SOMERSET • MY WORKSHOP
OLD-SCHOOL SKILLS.
NEW POSSIBILITIES.
I completed my mechanical apprenticeship before the advent of CNC. That grounding in making things the good old-fashioned way still shapes how I work.
Today, my Somerset workshop brings together decades of hands-on experience, a wide range of tools and equipment, and some really cool technology.
Wood, metal, resin, electrics and reclaimed materials: I enjoy finding the right combination for the job, whatever shape your idea takes.

REUSE. REPURPOSE.
MAKE IT EXTRAORDINARY.
“Reuse, repurpose and recycle when you can.”— My wife, keeping me on the right track.
I try to use materials and processes that are already in abundance around me. There’s no point reinventing a wheel when a perfectly good one is waiting for a new purpose.
Sometimes the answer is a new creation. Sometimes it’s a clever repair or a fresh use for something you already have. Either way, it starts with looking at what’s possible.
